Colin Completes the London Marathon

Congratulations to Colin who completed the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon on Sunday in 4:47:41. Colin was running for his Mum who was diagnosed with Cancer last year and raised over £6,000 for Brain Tumour Research.

Colin said “I wanted to take myself out of my comfort zone and went from literally no running to running the London marathon in 9 months to raise money for Brain Tumour Research”.

“The training through the winter was pretty tough but it made it all worth while on the day. The last few miles were brutal but I enjoyed every minute of it.”

“Brain Tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer and with just 1% of the national spend on cancer research being allocated to this disease, they really do need our help.”
