Lakhta Center Book Launch

Tony Kettle has arrived in St Petersburg ahead of the VII St Petersburg Cultural Forum, where he will participate in the panel discussion “Architecture as a Face of the Nation: Creating National Identity Through Large-Scale Architectural Projects.”

Prior to the Cultural Forum, Tony and Colin attended the launch of the new Lakhta Center book in St Petersburg, where Tony spoke to the audience about the design of the Lakhta Center having been honoured to have written the foreword for the book.

The book gives the readers an understanding of the architectural concept and features photographs through the construction process.
