Al Seeb Waterfront Development
The design proposals respond to the forms of the waterline itself and look to enhance the special qualities of the existing beach to create a new destination, with new amenities and activities for visitors. This will celebrate the coastal landscape and reinforce its unique sense of place.

The concept for this new destination takes its inspiration from the shoreline of the sea, with the shifting sinuous forms of the breaking waves informing the landscape path network. The edges of the meandering shorelines become different routes that connect a series of beach zones together.
Continuing with the coastal theme, each of these zones are inspired by the different identities of the Omani coastline; the fishing ports, the spectacular coastal cliffs, the rich and biodiverse coral reefs, the open sand dunes and the light and colour from the seascape itself.
