Hazem has over 16 years of expertise in design and project management across the Middle East. He has worked on a wide range of projects including large residential communities, mixed-use towers, commercial spaces and prestigious palaces.
Hazem has an engineering background with a BSc in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Engineering System Management with a focus on Construction Management, both with distinction from the American University of Sharjah.
Hazem joined Pioneer Engineer Engineering Consultants in 2009 where he started as a structural engineer where he gained experience of the coordination between architecture, structural and MEP engineering. This led him, with his academic knowledge, to lead the design management process in all project stages, ranging from project feasibility to design, stakeholder management, tender, construction, and handover.
Hazem has a publication in the professional Journal of Architectural Engineering and Design Management with a title of “Assessment of the Design-Construction Interface Problems in the UAE” which was published in May 2016.
