Omar Abou Nader is an Architect and Urban Designer with a passion for how people experience and shape the spaces around them. His work is grounded in a deep respect for place, shaped by the cultural richness, ecological systems, and spatial dynamics that define each context. He brings a reflective and systems-minded approach to design, placing all forms of life (human, fauna, and flora) at the centre of his thinking.
With over seven years of experience across the Middle East, Asia, and Europe, Omar has worked on projects ranging from intimate placemaking interventions to regional masterplans spanning more than 7,000 hectares. Much of his portfolio focuses on the GCC, where he has contributed to large-scale, high-impact developments across varied typologies. His approach balances cultural insight, environmental responsiveness, and long-term spatial resilience. Work in Japan and Europe has further deepened his commitment to globally informed, context-driven design.
Omar holds a Bachelor of Architecture, a dual Master’s in Urban Design and Urban Planning, and an MBA; a multidisciplinary foundation that allows him to connect design with strategy, vision with implementation.
Outside of design practice, Omar is an avid underwater explorer and cave expedition leader. These immersive journeys into the natural world inspire his work and reinforce his commitment to preservation and the thoughtful stewardship of our environments.
