Priyanka Awatramani

Landscape Design Assistant
Priyanka Awatramani is a landscape designer, urbanist, architect, researcher and an author from India. She holds a post-graduation in Landscape Urbanism from the Architectural Association (AA) in London. She is an experienced designer who has worked on various high-end projects ranging from master planning and institutional design to bespoke architecture and interiors, adaptive reuse, and graphic design, transcending scales and typologies.

Priyanka is particularly experienced in design development, 3D visualisation, documentation, coordination, and quality analysis, ensuring projects meet high standards with meticulous attention to detail. Her approach combines a keen eye for aesthetics with critical thinking and problem-solving, delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions which are sensitive to cultural and environmental contexts.

Beyond design, Priyanka is actively engaged in research; her work explores the intersections of gender, urbanism, and systems thinking, with a focus on productive and regenerative landscapes. While at the AA, her master’s thesis developed policy frameworks that support a transition towards biobased economies in the construction industry, foregrounding labour forces and supporting regenerative landscapes.

Through her unique approach, Priyanka positions herself as a mediator, translating data into actionable insights and bridging the gap between theoretical frameworks and practical implementation while understanding complex issues across multiple scales.
